HAT Smart offers a number of incentive programs to help residents make environmental and energy-conscious upgrades when renovating existing residences or constructing new homes.
The HAT Smart program makes saving money and energy easier.
Residential Rebates:
Rebates are available for residential electric, natural gas, and water customers of the City of Medicine Hat.
The HAT Smart Initiative requires homeowners to receive a utility statement from the City of Medicine Hat. Eligibility for each program is dependent on the type of utility service you receive. Check individual incentive program eligibility requirements for your renovation type.
Incentives vary year by year as new technologies and funding sources are introduced.
